Is TezShot free?
Yes, completely free and without ads.
Are my screenshots sent to the internet?
No. TezShot sends nothing online: even text recognition runs on your computer using the built-in Windows engine.
Does smart redaction find everything?
Almost always. Text recognition can occasionally miss a line, so take a quick look before you send a screenshot.
Which languages does it recognise?
English and Russian, plus Uzbek in Latin script. The matching Windows language pack has to be installed.
Why does Windows show a warning?
The app is not code-signed yet, which is common for new apps. Click “More info” → “Run anyway”.
How do I uninstall it?
Nothing is installed — just delete the folder. If you enabled “Start with Windows”, turn it off in the app menu first.
